Year on year our annual ‘Business Expo’ attracts a multitude of delegates, partners, exhibitors and business support services. We are proud to have created a platform that supports growth within the current business eco-system. The primary objective of this event is to attract large businesses to the area, fostering confidence and exhibiting the capabilities of local and regional SME businesses. Furthermore, the event seeks to empower young black entrepreneurs by nurturing a positive entrepreneurial culture, inspiring individuals, sparking positive change, and shifting negative mindsets. This combined support mechanism will create an environment conducive to growth, inclusivity, and innovation within the entrepreneurial landscape. It was our first time exhibiting at the Black Business Expo and it was so valuable from the clients acquired to the knowledge gained from other exhibitors. We like the effort your organisation puts in to acquire speakers who can share their knowledge and experience.

I was an exhibitor and loved the room and position I was in which brought in guests to my room. The communication throughout was clear and straightforward and I didn't need to chase to get any info. I enjoyed networking with the other businesses, seeing their beautiful products. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.

The Black Business Expo has been a fantastic resource for our business. The networking opportunities were invaluable to us, leading to important connections and potential collaborations. We appreciated the training sessions via the Black Expo’s training providers, which provided practical insights and valuable business tools to us. The exposure to a wider market was key for our growth, and the mentoring we have received from the Black Expo Team has been incredibly helpful in guiding our development.

AD:VENTURE has exhibited at the Black Business Expo since it began. We always have a fantastic day at the conference, making loads of excellent connections and meeting new businesses from West Yorkshire who we can offer our support to. The event is both informative and fun, full of great speakers and talks. It is incredibly well attended and is a catalyst for growth in the Black Business community. We are already looking forward to 2025!

I have had the pleasure of trading at 3 of the Black business Expo’s selling my vegan pastries. This event has helped me grow in confidence, it has taught me how to network and how to display and sell my produce. The organisers provide so much at this event, from who they invite to speak at the event, their professional conduct, and friendly welcome, it's such a vibe. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Good afternoon BBEXPO. The Black Business Expo really helped me build my network and clientele. Pushing myself to do things out of my comfort zone really boosted my business. The expo was an amazing start to my own adventure. Would 100% recommend attending and showcasing!

I have attended the Black Business (Huddersfield) expo for the last three years, each time I have been really impressed with the broad range of Black Businesses represented. I particularly enjoy hearing the experiences (and top business tips!) of their national, regional and local speakers. It`s a great place to learn about different aspects of business start-up/ development and connect with other Black Entrepreneurs/ budding Entrepreneurs. I love the fact that entry is free which makes it accessible to everyone.
