About the event

We aim to attract large businesses to the area, build confidence, market local/regional SME businesses and assist with the following.

  • Networking with potential business partners
  • Strengthening the local community of Huddersfield West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas
  • Building trust and reputation
  • Establishing this event as a valid resource
  • Creating a forum for businesses to connect
  • Supporting equity, equality, diversity and inclusion within the workplace

BBSA (Black Business Support Agency) are the hosts and committed to providing a holistic experience which will include:

  • Keynote speakers on business and empowerment
  • Demo’s – (Hair & Beauty – Art – Business – Health)
  • Presentation from a young business entrepreneur
  • Interactive panel session
  • Break out sessions and Business stalls
  • Entertainment and fundraising for a local cause

The event also aims to empower young black males/female entrepreneurs, create a positive culture, inspire others, make a difference and change negative mind sets.

BBSA (Black Business Support Agency)

BBSA are a group of men from different backgrounds/professions who came together in March 2018 to formulate a business and support a charitable enterprise. Our main aim is to establish the ‘Expo’ as a driver for new ideas, collaboration, providing value to the community of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Members of the group have had experience with and supported a number of local/regional events. See below for some of the organisations we have partnered with:
